Today officially marks five years of blogging for me. What started as a place for me to put my Journalism degree to use while working in the agency world has far, far exceeded any and all expectations I ever had for my own little corner of the internet. The past five years have been full of change for me – frommaking the move from New Jersey to Chicago, new jobs, travels, meeting B,leaving Chicago to San Francisco… and blogging has been an amazing constant through it all.

Whetheryou’ve read from the beginningor are just visiting the blog for the first time today,thank you.The community I’ve found and the connections I’ve made through blogging are hands down what I’m most grateful for. Every blog post comment, reader email, or new friend made through the blog is what really keeps blogging fun.

It’s a bit crazy to think about what the next five years might hold, but if they’re anything like the last five,I cannot wait. Cheers to five years, Pretty & Fun!
