I don’t know about you but having a three day weekend right smack in the middle of January is EXACTLY what I needed! January is always such a crazy month as we’re getting caught up onreal lifepost-holidays while also taking on plenty of new projects as ambitions are soaring. I tackled a big apartment purge project on Saturday and feel so much better already – it’s amazing how muchstuffwe can accumulate!

On any typical weekend you’re likely to find me in some variation of this outfit.Denim.A cozy sweater(cashmere preferably!). Sneakers. It’s become a uniform of sorts as it works for just about anything in San Francisco, all year ’round. I’ve also been on a serious sneaker kick lately (as you’ve probably noticed if you follow me onInstagram Stories!). Gone are the days where I have any tolerance for uncomfortable shoes and the right pair of sneakers can add an element of effortless cool to any outfit (French girl chic, anyone?). I’m usually not a pink girl butthese blush Nikeswere just too good to pass up – they’re a combination of velvet, suede and patent and have been on heavy repeat lately.
