Sunny Yellow Midi Dress.
Have you noticed that yellow seems to be theitcolor right now? While I think Beauty & the Beast is partially to blame, I can’t get enough of the sunny hue. Yellow is definitely one of those colors that’s a bit outside of my comfort zone as a blonde but I’ve found that more jewel-toned shades can work really well (but don’t expect to see me in a pastel yellow anytime soon!). As I look to shake up my personal style beyond neutrals and stripes, yellow has been the ultimate way to brighten things up. Some other favorite sunny pieces I’ve spotted and swooned over:
This embroidered midi dress from Madewellis a bit more bohemian than my typical style but I’m all aboutits flowy silhouette and the detailing with the ruffled tiers and buttons down the back. It’s flattering and comfortable and has been the only thing I’ve been wanting to wear for dinner dates with girlfriends (tight clothes are never welcome when there’s a big dinner involved!) or even a day at the office with a denim jacket layered to help fight the A/C chill.
Have you shopped any sunny hued pieces lately?
